Law enforcement officer's wife stole Christmas gifts from cop, sheriff says

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – A Central Florida law enforcement officer's wife was caught on camera stealing Christmas gifts from another officer's home, according to authorities.

Home security cameras captured a woman who Polk County deputies say is a law enforcement officer's wife grabbing gifts from another officer's front porch. The couple who lives in the house posted the video of the theft on Facebook.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the Facebook post may have prompted Dana Hagar, 42, to return the now-opened gifts back to the porch.

Deputies said it did not take long to track down Hagar, who was already on probation in a separate theft investigation.
