Burn victim who wished for Christmas cards gets trip to Disney World

Sa'fyre Terry, 8, lost family in arson fire

ORLANDO, Fla. – A New York burn victim who lost her family in an arson fire will soon be traveling to Central Florida to visit Walt Disney World. 

Sa'fyre Terry, 8, made national headlines when she recently asked for Christmas cards for the holiday. 

The little girl lost her family and suffered severe burns in a 2013 arson fire. 

The nonprofit group Baking Memories 4 Kids is sponsoring the weeklong trip for Sa'fyre. 

As far as her request for Christmas cards, the Associated Press said Sa'fyre has received 18,000 letters and more than 400 packages. 

A crowdfunding site has also raised more than $330,000 for her.
