JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A plane traveling from Orlando to an airport in Ohio was diverted to a Jacksonville airport due to an indicator light, authorities said.

While the flight was en route to the Ohio airport, the plane diverted to Jacksonville International Airport due to an indicator light, according to Allegiant Air.

"Out of an abundance of caution, an emergency was declared and the aircraft landed safely at JAX," Allegiant Air said in a statement. "The aircraft was carrying 141 passengers and six crew members."

The plane was inspected Thursday evening to determine the cause of the indicator message. Officials said a replacement aircraft was en route to Jacksonville to take passengers on to Ohio.

"The safety of our passengers and crew members is always our top priority," Allegiant Air said. "We apologize for the inconvenience to our passengers and are providing them with $150 off vouchers."

WJXT-TV reports no one on board was hurt.
