Deputies: FWC officer discovers vehicle in parking lot
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies are investigating after a body was found in a vehicle off Reed Ellis Road in the Osteen area.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission requested assistance from sheriff's deputies around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies said a FWC officer discovered a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot in the 2600 block of Reed Ellis Road in the Kratzert Conservation Area.
The body, identified by the Volusia County Sheriff's Office as that of Andre Robertson, 28, of Orlando, showed signs of trauma.
Investigators determined Robertson’s death was a homicide, deputies said.
