Cops: Florida man charged with battery in fight over peanut butter sandwich, spilled milk Deputies say man was upset after finding no jelly in house for sandwich No description found
FRUITLAND PARK, Fla. – A Lake County man was arrested on battery charges after deputies say he pushed his wife in an argument over spilled milk and peanut butter and jelly.
Keith Davidson, 46, was charged with domestic violence battery in the Sunday incident.
Authorities said Davidson had woken up to make a peanut butter sandwich and became angry because there was no jelly in the house.
An argument was sparked with his wife and during the argument, his wife spilled milk on the floor, according to the report.
Deputies said Davidson pushed his wife to the ground and held her there to use her head to clean the spilled milk.
His wife showed deputies bruising on her arm and Davidson was taken to the Lake County Jail.
