OMAHA, Neb. – Darth Vader is a famous movie villain, but Thursday in Omaha, Nebraska he did good by giving a 9-year-old boy a gift he'll never forget.
Alvin Garcia Flores was handed a black box at a school assembly. Inside was his brand new 3-D-printed bionic arm.

Flores was born without his right arm, but thanks to Limbitless Solutions at University of Central Florida, he was able to receive a bionic arm in front of his family, friends and classmates.
The team of UCF students constructed and shipped Flores' arm to Omaha before Christmas, as part of their 12 Arms for Christmas campaign.
The team members could not travel to Omaha to gift Flores with the arm themselves, so they reached out to the local 501st Legion--a national group of dedicated fans known for their excellent Star Wars costumes -- which was able to arrange for Darth Vader to deliver it.
Flores is a big Star Wars fan.
"I'm so excited for him to join our Limbitless family," said Albert Manero, founder of the nonprofit Limbitless Solutions.
