Man wanted on molestation charges located, arrested David Lee Brown Sr., 50, inappropriately touched young child, deputies say No description found
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Officials arrested a man Tuesday night shortly after issuing his arrest warrant.
Deputies said a 12-year-old victim reported Thursday that David Lee Brown Sr., 50, inappropriately touched her over the course of a year. The child told deputies Brown had sex with her and touched her inappropriately numerous times, but that she was too afraid to tell anyone.
Family members said they recently began to notice the victim's demeanor change, which led them to suspect something was affecting her behavior.
Detectives said they attempted to locate Brown, who was released from the Florida Department of Corrections after being sentenced to 15 years for drug-related charges.
Brown was apprehended Tuesday night. He is charged with 10 counts of sexual battery on a child and seven counts of lewd or lascivious molestation.
