SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – News 6 learned on Friday that George Zimmerman's divorce from his wife, Shellie Zimmerman, is final.
Shellie Zimmerman filed for divorce in September 2013, shortly after George Zimmerman was acquitted in the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
Shellie Zimmerman will go back to using her maiden name, Shellie Dean, according to court documents.
The documents also state that George Zimmerman will keep his 2008 Honda Ridgeline, which was involved in a shooting incident in May 2015.
George Zimmerman will also keep the liability of $2.5 million he owes in legal fees in his criminal case.
