Man threatened to stab woman with screwdriver for sexual favors, cops say

Kissimmee police search for man in attempted sexual battery


KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Kissimmee police are searching for a man who they say offered a woman a ride, then threatened to stab her with a screwdriver if she didn't give him sexual favors.

The attempted sexual battery was reported in the area of Bible Baptist Church on East Vine Street at 4 a.m. on Saturday.

Police said the victim was walking on East Vine Street when she was offered a ride by the man. Once she got into the vehicle, the man exposed himself and requested sexual favors, to which the victim refused, according to police.

The man then threatened to stab the victim with a screwdriver if she didn't comply and the victim fled the vehicle, police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police described the culprit as a clean-shaven "younger" Hispanic male between the ages of 28 to 32 with an average build and short dark hair that protruded out of the bottom of a dark “large domed cap."  

The victim told police the man was wearing a red T-shirt with faded, light blue jeans.
