DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Beach police are searching for the man who they say stole $10,000 worth of sunglasses from two Sunglass Hut stores.
Police said the man went to the Gucci section of the Sunglass Hut on North Atlantic Avenue Sunday afternoon and put at least two pairs of the Gucci glasses in his pants pocket.

The man then left and started to head toward the boardwalk and beach area, police said.
Police said the glasses were valued at between $200 and $400 a pair.
According to the report, the same man went to the Sunglass Hut on International Speedway Boulevard on Tuesday and stole multiple pairs of sunglasses, including Prada, Ray-Ban and Gucci glasses.
He was described to police as a white male with short, wiry hair and some facial hair, wearing a gray short-sleeved shirt with a long black shirt underneath, dark blue jeans, black flip-flops and wire-framed reading glasses.
