Universal Orlando releases new details about 'Reign of Kong'

Ride will feature winged beasts and giant insects

ORLANDO, Fla. – Universal Orlando has released details about the all-new attraction dedicated to King Kong.

The theme park released new video Thursday on their blog. It gives park visitors a behind the scenes look at some of the creatures of "Skull Island: Reign of Kong."

The video features winged beasts, snakes and giant insects. The ride will also feature a more terrifying version of a T. rex dinosaur.

Those behind the new attraction said while most of what visitors see will be physical props, a lot will be created with digital  images.

"Skull Island: Reign of Kong" is expected to open at Islands Of Adventures this summer.
