"Very excited to send you the link of the full POV for Cobra’s Curse. We are in #StrikingDistance!" Busch Gardens said in an email to News 6.
Cobra's Curse will feature an air-conditioned queue line with an exhibit of several exotic snakes, including Jameson's mambas, Angolan pythons and rhinoceros and Gaboon vipers.
An elevator will take the coaster to the top of a hill on a 70-foot vertical lift before launching guests. Riders will come within inches of the 4-foot-fangs of a 30,000 pound "snake king" statue. The spinning then begins in a way that Busch Gardens officials claim will make Cobra's Curse the only coaster of its kind in the world.
With 2,100 feet of track and a maximum speed of 40 mph, guests will experience about 3-and-a-half minutes of thrills.
Busch Gardens is expected announce an official opening date soon.
