Man, 61, dies in Marion County mobile home fire

A 61-year-old man was killed early Wednesday in a mobile home fire in Marion County, officials said.

The fire was reported around 1:25 a.m. in the 990 block of Southeast 117th Street Road in Belleview.

Officials said 15 Marion County fire units and 24 firefighters arrived at the home around 1:34 a.m. and found a travel trailer ablaze.

Witnesses told firefighters that a man was inside the home, where he was found dead, officials said. The man's name has not been released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
