Walmart dressers recalled over safety standards

No description found

More than 8,000 dressers are being recalled on Wednesday because they can tip over and cause serious injuries, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The four-drawer wooden chests were only sold at Walmart.com under the Storybook brand and were made between April and June of 2016.

The manufacturer of the chests, Sauder woodworking, says that unless they are properly anchored to the wall, the dressers can tip over and do not comply with safety standards.

Ikea recently recalled thousands of dressers for the same problem.
