Three Osceola teens arrested, one charged with attempted murder after fight

Three teenagers were arrested on Wednesday after they attempted to rob a home, leading to a fight, deputies say.

On Tuesday, deputies were responding to a home break-in on Royalty Court in Poinciana when they encountered a fight between 10 to 15 teens, several doors down.

After speaking with the group, deputies determined Elias Rosario-Torres, 18, pulled out a gun and fired shots during the argument. Edgar Santiago, 18, and another teen had kicked down the door to start the fight, according to the report.

News 6 is not naming one of the suspects because he is a minor.

Torres is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, two counts of battery, improper exhibition of a gun, discharging a firearm, use of a firearm during a felony, tampering, resisting arrest and two counts of battery. The minor and Santiago are charged with burglary and criminal mischief.

All three teens were booked into the Osceola County Jail.
