Republican Daniel Webster wins U.S. House District 11 race

Webster defeated Dave Koller, Bruce Ray Riggs

Daniel Webster won the 11th U.S. Congressional District race.

Webster, a Republican, did not seek re-election in District 10, due to the redistricting. Webster faced off against Democratic challenger Dave Koller and Independent challenger Bruce Ray Riggs.

District 11 incumbent Richard Nugent, who was first elected in 2010, decided to not seek re-election.  Webster received over 59 percent of the votes  in the August primary election.

As of 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Associated Press called the race with just one precinct reporting. Those numbers showed Webster earning 60 percent, Koller earning 31 percent and Riggs earning 7 percent.
