Nearly 30,000 strollers recalled over potential safety problems

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Boston-based company, Aria Child Inc. has issued a recall involving nearly 30,000 baby strollers over potential safety concerns.

The recall involves gb Qbit lightweight strollers for children weighing up to 50 pounds. 

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said there is a gap in the folding side hinge that could cause the strollers to fold during use. 

There have been more than 18 reports of injuries. 

The strollers were sold for $180 at Babies R Us stores across the country and online at Amazon.com from March 2015 to March 2016. The strollers were manufactured from March 2015 to March 2016.

The company is replacing the strollers at no charge.
