Anonymous tip leads to arrest of Orlando murder suspect, police say
ORLANDO, Fla. – A man suspected of shooting and killing a 27-year-old man in November was arrested Thursday after an anonymous tip, Orlando police said.
Carlos Reed, 37, was wanted for the murder of Lee Baldwin Jr., who was killed at Maxwell Terrace Apartments, according to police.
Reed was arrested in Hardee County and will be taken Thursday to Orlando police headquarters where he will speak with detectives and then be booked into the Orange County Jail.
Orlando police responded Nov. 26 to a 911 call about a shooting at 2803 W. Arlington St. in Orlando and found the victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Orlando police sent out a call to the public for information about Reed’s whereabouts on Tuesday. He was captured two days later.
