Lake Mary police investigate apparent road-rage shooting No one shot in incident
LAKE MARY, Fla. – Lake Mary police are investigating after an apparent road rage shooting Saturday evening.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. near the ABC Liquor store at 980 Rinehart Road.
Police said the shooter became angry because the victim's car did not start moving at a green light.
The suspect pulled up next to victim's car -- with three adults and a juvenile inside -- and started shooting, police said. No one was hit by the gunfire.
Police said the Florida Hospital Lake Mary Emergency Department was placed on lockdown due to its close proximity to the shooting.
Descriptions of the shooter or vehicle were not given as police continue to investigate.
