A customer saw one of the two children walking around the parking, the arrest report said.

Deputies said a customer told Taylor that the child was walking around in the parking lot and that she “placed the child back in the vehicle and resumed drinking,” the report said.

Two other witnesses told deputies saying that they did not see Taylor return to her car to check on the children.

When another deputy arrived at the bar, authorities saw both children still in the locked car, which was not running.

The deputies entered the bar and saw Taylor, who they said was “extremely intoxicated” to the point of when they asked her to step outside, “they had to assist her from falling,” the report said.

Taylor told deputies that she had only one drink, but later told them that she had three shots of tequila.

She also told deputies that “there was an older child present,” but she could not give a description of the other child.

Taylor was arrested on two counts of child neglect.
