ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are investigating after a woman was robbed at gunpoint while leaving a convenience store.

A woman reported that when she left the store in the 3800 block of Winter Rose Drive, a young man robbed her and ran off in the Nassau Bay apartments, police said.

The Orlando Police Department called for K-9s to search, but resident or pedestrian traffic was very heavy in the complex. Police said they were unable to find the man.

The suspect is described as an 18- to 20-year-old man who is 5 feet 1 inches to 5 feet 2 inches tall with short hair. Police said he wore a gray shirt and black pants.
