Legoland Florida celebrates Beach Retreat grand opening Resort features 166 hotel rooms, restaurant
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Legoland Florida officially opened its Beach Retreat, a village-style vacation resort. A grand opening ceremony took place Friday.
The Beach Retreat features 166 rooms in 83 beach-themed bungalows. The resort also features Sandy's Castle Restaurant, which sits inside a massive, Lego-inspired lighthouse.

Legoland said the Beach Retreat is aimed at younger children.
It is located across the street from the Winter Haven park.
The grand opening ceremony took place at 10 a.m.
