Skittles ditches signature rainbow colors for Pride Month 'Only one rainbow matters this pride,' the company says No description found
ORLANDO – Skittles is ditching their signature rainbow bag for a black and white one in order to honor LGBTQ pride.
"Only one rainbow matters this pride," the company wrote in their newest ad campaign.
Their usual ad slogan, "Taste the Rainbow," has been altered this month. The new slogan reads, "Give the rainbow. Taste the rainbow." The company is also promoting the hashtag #onerainbow.
The company in statement wrote, "This Pride, only rainbow deserves to be the center of attention -- yours."
This is not the first time the candy company Mars has come out in support of LGBTQ rights. In 2016, a pride-themed Snickers bar was released with a rainbow wrapper.
The rainbow-less Skittles will be available for a limited time on June 17 and 18.
