CLERMONT, Fla. – A Florida man was arrested this weekend after police said he parked next to a woman at a Clermont Target and masturbated while staring and waving at her during the entire incident.
Clermont police responded to a call July 28 about a man exposing himself in the Target parking lot on East Highway 50.
The victim said she was sitting in her car in the parking lot when a black vehicle pulled into the parking spot to her left. She told officer’s she recognized Ivan Garcia Mutis, 31, of Apopka, from two previous incident in July.
Garcia Mutis rolled down his passenger’s side window, pulled out his penis and was “jerking” it, the victim told police.
The victim said, “The male was staring at her during the entire incident,” according to the report. Garcia Mutis waved at the victim the last time she looked at him, she told police.
The woman said she remained in her car and called police to make sure Garcia Mutis stayed in his vehicle until authorities arrived.
While an officer confronted Garcia Mutis he backed into a marked patrol car, according to the arrest report. The first officer to arrive noted that Garcia Mutis’ zipper was half-way down and his belt buckle was loose.
Garcia Mutis told police he pulled up next to the victim “only to wave hello.”
Garcia Mutis was issued a trespassing warning and will be arrested if he returns the Target location.
Police wrote in the arrest report that there is another Clermont police investigation into a similar incident involving Garcia Mutis.
Garcia Mutis is charged with exposure of a sexual organ.
