LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Robert Leibowitz has been dealing with chronic kidney disease since he experienced a serious kidney infection at the age of 12. After taking numerous medications for years, his doctor informed him that he would eventually need a transplant.
Leibowitz put his name on the transplant donor list, and was told that because he needs a rare O+ kidney, the wait could be up to seven years.

That's when Leibowitz's doctor encouraged the father of five to start doing anything possible to get the word out.
Rocio Yanira Sandoval was at Magic Kingdom with her family when she spotted Leibowitz wearing a T-shirt that read, "In Need of a Kidney, O positive, Call 917-597-2651." When she asked Leibowitz if she could share the photo, she wrote that he smiled, hugged her and her family and gratefully replied, "Yes please! Thank you, please share this with the world."
Since Sandoval posted Leibowitz's shirt to Facebook, the post has gotten over 10,000 shares.
"May God bless this family, and help them stay together," Sandoval wrote on Facebook. "Please continue to share and spread love and support."
