Joseph Vaglica, 40, was arrested on a charge of burglary with assault or battery.

According to New Smyrna Beach police, the woman said she observed a naked man enter her house through the garage. She said he was acting strangely and entered her bedroom, according to police.

The woman said she did not know the man and was scared that he was going to harm her, according to police.

The man went through some of her clothing and put some on, police said.

New Smyrna Beach police said the woman ran out of her home and got her son, who lives next door.

The man banged on the son's window before rolling around in the man's lawn, police said.

Officers arrived and Vaglica was arrested and taken to jail. Police said they were unable to interview Vaglica because he was intoxicated.
