ORLANDO, Fla. – Gifts have been pouring in for children in need as part of News 6's and The Salvation Army's 2017 Angel Tree program, but some toys still need to returned so they can be distributed in time.
News 6 and The Salvation Army team up for the Angel Tree program each year during the holiday season to make sure children in need in the community have presents to open come Christmas Day,

This year, 3,600 angels were adopted from locations across Central Florida. While 91 percent of the gifts for those angels have been returned, another 9 percent have not.
The deadline to return gifts to the location where the angel was adopted has passed, so anyone who has a gift for their angel is can take them to The Salvation Army at 416 W. Colonial Drive in Orlando.
Remember, your gifts and kindness can make a huge difference for a Central Florida child this holiday season.
