Man, 52, found fatally shot in unincorporated Altamonte Springs home, deputies say Authorities offer reward of up to $5,000 for info in case
SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A 52-year-old man was found shot to death Saturday inside his home in unincorporated Altamonte Springs, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they were called to the home in the 500 block of Georgia Avenue just after 3:30 p.m. when a woman who came to check on the resident, identified as 52-year-old Douglas Adams, told investigators she found him dead in the home.
Adams had last been seen at the home between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, deputies said.
The Sheriff's Office said they do not believe Adams' death was random and that they are working to identify a shooter.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Seminole County Sheriff's Office at 407-665-6650 or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS and could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000, authorities said.
