These local bars are hosting Election Day deals so you can drink after you vote

Movie showing, dog gathering, watch party among some of the events

ORLANDO, Fla. – Election Day is on Tuesday, Nov. 6, and along with voting can come stress. Luckily, the staff at some Central Florida bars are helping to fix voting woes the best way they know how -- with drink specials.

If you can't watch your Election Day coverage on News 6, head out to any one of these local bars to watch results and make use of their discounts and nightly deals.

Daiq the Vote
6 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Bauhaus, 27 E. Pine Street, Orlando

Celebrate democracy the fun way -- with a daiquiri. The Bauhaus bar, located underneath Hanson's Shoe Repair, is offering  Avuá Cachaça and Cocktail and Sons "snaquiris" all night. Bauhaus has a variety of cocktails, beers and wine that will appeal to any parched voter. The bar will also be showing election coverage so you can stay informed while you get intoxicated.

Vino and Vote Watch Party
6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Luisa's Cellar, 206 Sanford Avenue, Sanford

What pairs better with exercising your right to vote than a glass of wine? Luisa's Cellar in Sanford is offering a free drink to anyone who comes in with an "I Voted" sticker. The bar has wine, coffee and tea as well as tapas-style food items. Luisa's will also be showing election coverage throughout the night. According to the Facebook event, "Vino is always gonna win" at Luisa's.

Yappy Hour
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Brass Tap, 1632 North Mills Avenue, Orlando

Democracy is just as important for dogs as it is for humans at this event at the Brass Tap's Mills Avenue location. The Brass Tap has a menu full of beer, wine and food. Downtown Pet Hospital is hosting the event and offering guests their first beer for free. If you bring your dog, they'll even gift it a red, white and blue bandana.

Election Day Taco and Movie Night

Tacos, movies and voting -- what more could you ask for on a Tuesday night? The Gnarly Barley will be showing "Napoleon Dynamite," along with featuring specials on house tacos and beers from Walking Tree Brewery. You can vote during the day, even if it's not for Pedro, and eat tacos and beer at night.

Loose Lips: Vote or Don't Bother Showing Up Edition
8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

If you chose not to vote in the midterm election, Lil Indie's staff does not want you to come to this event. If you did vote, you're welcome to come out to the cocktail and beer bar on Mills Avenue to see local writers read some of their own works. The pieces are all inspired by the last 30 days of news, meaning they will surely be interesting. Lil Indie's again wants to remind anyone looking to come to the event of the necessity of voting, saying "If you didn't vote, DON'T BOTHER SHOWING UP" in the description of the Facebook event.
