The last thing you want to happen while holiday shopping is have your purse stolen.
A New Hampshire police department shared an easy tip to keep your purse safe in a cart while shopping this holiday season.

Make sure your purse is zipped closed and then use either the cart’s built-in child safety belt or a cheap carabiner clip to attach the purse strap to your cart.
This will allow you the freedom to turn your back to your cart and know your purse will still be there when you turn back around.
This simple tip was shared by the Windham Police Department in Windham, New Hampshire and it’s been shared more than 10,000 times on Facebook.
Other ways to prevent theft are to carry your purse, be aware of your surroundings, carry less cash and only bring the one credit card you will be shopping with that day.
