Windsor Cove Apartments shooting victim dies, Orlando police say Victim with gunshot wound taken to hospital after shooting
ORLANDO, Fla. – A person taken to a hospital after a shooting Saturday evening died Monday, authorities said.
Members of the Orlando Police Department responded to a shooting at the Windsor Cove Apartments on Mercy Drive at about 8:54 p.m.
Authorities said the victim, Cordarryl Demetrice Atwell, 23, suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital. Orlando police said Atwell later died of his injuries.
There is no suspect at this time, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing.
