The Sheriff's Office said Joseph Johnson, 62, didn't want his son driving a vehicle that was jointly owned by Cory Johnson and his mother.

Deputies said they provided legal advice about the situation.

"We are reviewing body camera footage to find out, you know. From what little I can tell you, is that dad and mom were adamant they didn't want him to have the car," Chitwood said.
