Woman found Eeyore on highway and now wants to return it to its owner

Martha Durant is set to find the home of Winnie the Pooh’s friend, Eeyore by creating a Facebook group called “Finding Eeyore’s Way Home.”

The Facebook group has more than 4,100 members, offering to help other children find their own lost stuffed animals. Some members also offered to replace those that could not be found.

According to Durant, she found a lonesome Eeyore in Mobile, Alabama, on the access ramp to I-10 East and West leaving work, following Hurricane Irma. She said she could not stop driving so she came back around to pick up the pillow pet. Durant is certain it belongs to a child who had to leave home.

Eeyore has not been in a gloomy place and experienced quite an adventure. One of the Facebook members took Eeyore on vacation to Disney World.

Durant says she has not given up finding Eeyore’s little one and hopes someone in Florida will see this and know little Eeyore is missing him or her.
