FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A stranger rescued a 6-year-old from a swimming pool in South Florida, and the incident was caught on camera.
Surveillance video shows the boy going underwater in a Fort Lauderdale pool.
Roque Ivan Ocampo heard screams and ran to help.

The man pulled the boy from the pool and performed CPR until first responders arrived.
Doctors say Ocampo saved the boy’s life with CPR.
“I don’t feel like hero,” Ocampo said. “I just did what I had to do. I feel good. I’m blessed to be able to help this kid.”
Experts stressed the importance of learning how to perform CPR.
