HAVANA, Fla. – The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office held a news conference on Wednesday to discuss four major arrests that were made in connection with the shooting of Florida State University football player Ethan Pritchard at an apartment complex.

The sheriff’s office made the announcement on Wednesday via social media.

“All four suspects I can tell you today that hurt FSU student Ethan Pritchard and his family are in custody,” said FDLE commissioner Mark Glass. “And that didn’t go by any small measure. That took the community to actually add value, to give tips and leads for this tragic, senseless shooting in our community. That took our agents, officers and deputies hard work going out and finding and running down each and every lead, talking to our community members, talking to family, talking to those who know something, looking at a plethora of video, our analysts putting that all together so our agents and officers and deputies can do their job."

The suspects have been identified as Caron Miller, 18, of Havana, Florida; Germany Atkins, 23, of Havana, Florida; Jayden Bodison, 22, of Woodville, Florida; and Anthony Glenn, 16, of Havana, Florida, FDLE said in a statement Friday.

Miller, Bodison, and Glenn were each charged with three counts of attempted murder, and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. Atkins was arrested on a violation of probation charge. Upon first appearance on Sept. 11, Miller, Atkins, and Bodison were ordered held on no bond, with Glenn was remanded to Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) custody on a no-release hold.

The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office said they were joined in the investigation by the FDLE, Havana Police Department, FSU Police Department, Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Tallahassee Police Department and the 2nd Judicial Circuit Court SAO.

Pritchard, an FSU linebacker, was transported to a Tallahassee-area hospital in critical condition after he was shot in the head on Aug. 31 in Havana, about 15 miles northwest of Tallahassee.

His family says he was inside a vehicle and was mistaken for someone else while taking a loved one home.

Pritchard’s uncle told News 6 that his nephew is stable but still has a long road to recovery.

A GoFundMe page was set up for Ethan Pritchard and his family. As of Wednesday, it had raised nearly $130,000.
