Dog leads Florida deputy to injured 86-year-old woman

Eeyore the dog hailed as hero

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. – A loyal dog in Okaloosa County is being called a hero after leading a deputy to an injured 86-year-old woman.

Body-camera video shows a deputy encountering Eeyore the dog, wandering alone at night.

“Hi baby, where’s your mama?” the deputy asked him.

Eeyore then led the deputy straight to the woman, who had fallen and couldn’t get up.

“He wouldn’t leave, he kept coming back to me,” the woman said of Eeyore, her son’s dog.
