AVENTURA, Fla. – The owner of a South Florida grocery store says a man recently walked in and tried to leave with nearly $200 of steak and wine stuffed in his pants.
Surveillance video from Kosher Kingdom in Aventura shows the man heading straight for the high-end meat case.
Police say he looked around, then shoved multiple cuts of steak into his pants. He’s also seen taking wine before leaving the store, according to police.
Employees followed him out of the store and he eventually ran away, but not before all the items were recovered.

The owner said it’s about more than just the food.
“We want to let people know that you cant come in and steal, it’s not right,” Phil Einhorn said. “We’re a family business trying to make it.”
