PORT ORANGE, Fla. - Crews are working to begin repairs after a water main break in the Sweetwater Hills subdivision of Port Orange, city officials said.
Extensive rain is hindering the repair, according to a post on Port Orange City Hall's Facebook page. City officials added that crews are working to initiate repairs and return water service.
There were about 200 homes that did not have water Thursday, city officials said. For those who don't have water, a precautionary boil water notice will be in effect for the next two days.
