Student accused of writing shooting threat on walls of a Longwood high school bathroom

Student is facing charge of threatening mass shooting

LONGWOOD, Fla. – A 15-year-old Lyman High School student is accused of writing school shooting threats on the bathroom walls, according to the Longwood Police Department.

According to the police report, the following three threats were found on bathroom walls: “[Expletive] this school,” “People will die,” and “I will shoot this [expletive] up.”

Investigators said the handwriting from the student was a perfect match for the threats on the walls and that a witness saw the boy inside the bathroom before the threats were found.

Police said the student is facing a charge of threatening a mass shooting.

He was arrested and transported to a juvenile assessment center.
