News 6 team joins Central Florida Association of Black Journalists’ boot camp Students learn firsthand from professional journalists
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Some of our News 6 team members spent Saturday giving back and getting results.
They helped assist the next generation of journalism students at UCF and Bethune-Cookman University.
The annual boot camp was hosted by the Central Florida Association of Black Journalists and helps students learn the ins and outs of TV news from industry professionals.

The students produced their own news stories and got to learn firsthand from TV anchors, reporters, photographers, producers and news managers from across Central Florida.
