Lego lovers can connect as Orlando Brick Convention returns to Central Florida

Event set for March 16-17

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – The Orlando Brick Convention is back, transforming Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee into a Lego lover’s paradise.

In addition to showcasing all-new Lego displays and creations for 2024, the event on Saturday and Sunday will once again support Creations for Charity, a nonprofit organization that provides Lego sets to underprivileged children during the holidays, organizers said.

A portion of the proceeds from the convention will be donated to charity.

Organizers are excited to welcome professional Lego artists from around the U.S. who will showcase their talents and meet with fans, according to a press release.

Attendees can also look forward to meet-and-greets with Lego celebrities Patrick Durham and Mel Brown from Lego Masters.

The convention will offer a variety of interactive experiences for budding builders.

The Construction Zone will provide access to thousands of bricks, while live builds will allow visitors to observe and engage with the creative process.

Additionally, galleries will showcase life-sized Lego models.

Here are some of the other attractions attendees can enjoy:

  • LEGO Retail: Purchase LEGO merchandise, retired and new sets, hard-to-find items, and various goodies from multiple vendors.
  • Star Wars Zone: Immerse yourself in amazing Lego creations inspired by the Star Wars universe.
  • Brick Pits: Dive into bins filled with thousands of Lego bricks to unleash your creativity.
  • Castle Build Zone: Collaborate with others to build a medieval Lego creation.
  • Professional Lego artist meet-and-greets: Get a chance to meet and chat with talented artists.
  • Fan Zone: Explore Lego creations built by local enthusiasts.

You can find a list of times for each day below:

Saturday, March 16:

  • Session I: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Session II: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Sunday, March 17:
  • Session I: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Session II: 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

(Note: Each session offers the same exhibits and activities. The event is closed from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.)

Tickets are priced at $14 and are available for either Saturday, March 16, or Sunday, March 17.

Similar to last year, organizers said they anticipate a sell-out crowd.
