Missing 11-year-old Polk County boy found safe, deputies say

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A missing 11-year-old boy has been located and is safe, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Asher Coates was last seen around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of North Galloway Road and Stonewood Court in Lakeland.

Deputies posted on social media on Saturday evening that officers from the Lakeland Police Department located the boy.
