‘Thank you for reaching out:’ News 6 addresses technical issues experienced by our viewers Engineers working around the clock to address problems
News 6 wanted to address some issues many viewers have been having with our broadcast and digital signals.
We received many calls and emails regarding audio issues and inconsistencies in our signal.
The problem is that the company News 6 uses to distribute our signal was hacked.
Our incredible team of engineers and production staff have been working 24 hours a day for the past three days to reconstruct our on-air process in real-time. Think of it like fixing a plane while it is flying.
They have been working non-stop to correct the issues that have plagued stations across the country.
We wanted you to know that we have read your emails and listened to your calls, and these issues are being resolved moving forward.
