OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A man has been arrested after a woman’s body was found at a Davenport home, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they responded to a home at 462 Bogey Drive on Jan. 5 after being called about a physical disturbance and found Enese Pierre, who appeared to have been stabbed to death.

According to an arrest warrant, the victim’s daughter, a 12-year-old girl, called 911 after hearing her mother yell for help from her bedroom and saying, “He is trying to kill me.”

The woman’s daughter went into the room and saw her mother injured and bleeding, the warrant said.

The girl then told detectives that after she called 911 she went back toward the bedroom and saw Makinson Devalcin, 45, grab a knife and say, “No one messes with me,” the warrant stated.

Another resident in the home, a friend of Pierre’s, said she heard yelling from the bedroom and when she looked inside, she saw Pierre on the bed covered in blood, according to authorities.

“This case was an isolated incident and is still an ongoing investigation,” the release stated.

Jail records show that Devalcin faces a charge of premeditated murder. He was being held without bond.

No additional information has been provided at this time.
