Here’s when spring break happens for Central Florida schools, universities

For many areas of the Sunshine State, March is the month for spring break, giving students a brief reprieve from their academic obligations.

In Central Florida, many school districts, colleges and universities are planning to hold spring break next week, though that’s not the case for all.

Below is a list of spring break dates for schools, colleges and universities in the region:

• Lake County: March 10 - 14
• Marion County: March 17 - 21
• Orange County: March 17 - 21
• Osceola County: March 17 - 21
• Polk County: March 17 - 21

• Sumter County: March 3 - 7
• Volusia County: March 17 - 21
