Crews work to contain 3 brush fires burning in Volusia County

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – Fire crews are fighting three brush fires in Volusia County, including two near Daytona Beach.

One fire is in the area of Tomoka Farms Road and Halifax, while another fire is in the area of I-95 and U.S. 92. Both are west of Daytona Beach.

The third fire is in the area of U.S. 92 and West Parkway near DeLand.

The Florida Forest Service is working with Volusia County Fire Rescue and Daytona Beach Fire Department to contain the fires.

Officials say that while the fires are producing a lot of smoke, there are no homes in danger.
