Ocala Wetland Recharge Park temporarily closes over sinkholes, city says

OCALA, Fla. – Ocala Wetland Recharge Park has temporarily closed due to multiple areas of ground subsidence and sinkholes, according to the city.

The park will stay closed pending the results of a full assessment, the city of Ocala said Friday on social media.

The post included photos showing the ground depressions, with one of them appearing to be several feet deep at the least.
