2 arrested in fatal shooting at home on Forest Lake Drive in Seminole County

Nicco Wong, 19, shot to death

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Two people were arrested Tuesday after a 19-year-old was shot to death at a home in Seminole County, according to sheriff’s officials.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Monday on Forest Lake Drive, southwest of state roads 434 and 436 near Altamonte Springs.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the home and found 19-year-old Nicco Wong suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead, deputies said.

According to the sheriff’s office, 18-year-old Tristin Tully Bennette and 24-year-old Natalia Precious Voltaire tried to steal firearms from the victim’s residence and pretended they were there to clean the home.

During a fight inside the home, deputies said Voltaire shot Wong before fleeing the area with Bennette. The two took off in a white Chevrolet Camaro, which was located in Altamonte Springs on Tuesday.

Video from the scene Monday night showed crime tape surrounding the house, with at least two deputy patrol vehicles in the yard.
