Osceola County deputies looking for man accused of robbing convenience store with gun

Incident happened at the RaceTrac at 2990 North John Young Pkwy.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies in Osceola County are looking for the man who they said robbed a convenience store in Kissimmee earlier this month, according to a news release.

The sheriff’s office said the armed robbery happened on June 7 at the RaceTrac located at 2990 North John Young Pkwy.

According to the release, an “unknown black male wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, black pants, and a blue medical face mask entered the location, displayed a firearm, and pointed it towards the employee.”

Deputies said the armed suspect demanded money from the register, which the employee placed into a drawstring backpack.

Officials believe the weapon used was a black handgun with a silencer attached.

According to the release, the suspect then fled the area, but it’s not known if he left on foot or in a vehicle.
