Authorities were alerted to Frazzetto’s alleged activity in December 2024, two months after his mother’s death, when attempting to cash one unauthorized check for $51,200, authorities said.

Further investigation led deputies to discover Frazzetto had allegedly made numerous unauthorized transactions totaling over $9,000, including a $2,000 transaction via Zelle the day prior to his mother’s death, the sheriff’s office said.

Frazzetto’s mother would have been incapacitated during this time and unable to make the cash transfer, the victim of the estate said.

Frazzetto was arrested on a Flagler County warrant for grand theft and uttering forged instruments and was booked into jail.
